Employers schedule in Phishing training simulations, followed by security awareness training to educate their staff on the importance of not clicking on links within emails. Often links from unknown senders and sometimes known senders may contain malicious code or redirect to malicious websites. Employees are being trained on an annual basis to ensure they don’t click on the links, however, this is not always 100% effective.
